Narnia.

For the past few days I've been convinced that where I am would not be hit by the snow. So imagine my surprise when I looked outside my window and saw flakes upon flakes of the stuff falling down. All that crisp, white, virginal snow that was waiting to be ravaged. It was time to go out and play.

Look at all that glorious snow!

Beautiful in the summer. Beautiful in the winter.

Snowball throwing, sledge planning despite lacking the main piece of equipment and snow penis building.
Hope your day has been as good as mine!

Decisions are yours to make.

I'm trying to convince myself to listen to these wise words.
So many things I want to do and achieve but it just feels like there are constant barriers to overcome and time will be soaked up right before my very eyes.

But on the plus side, the longer I wait and the more I strive for something, the greater it'll be.

That's got to be something to aim for. Shoot for the stars and all that.

Relationships

Relationships are hard work. Whether it's with your family, friends or any other loved ones you have in your life, it's still hard work.

Sometimes it feels like a waste of effort, other times you can feel on top of the world and like a million pounds.

I know there have been times when I've 'cut my nose of to spite my face', and yeah I've felt pretty bad about it after, but I manned up and apologised about my choice of actions.

Let me tell you one thing, being stubborn isn't always a good thing.

So if there's a relationship in your life that feels like it's slipping, even just a little bit, take that extra bit of time to help mend and repair it before it's too late.

Run, Run, Run.

Running. It's one of the reasons we've got legs right?

I  love it. The runners high, the cramps in your legs and the breathlessness on a cold, frosty morning.

Sometimes though I feel that little unmotivated feeling creeping in and I have to push it away.

Here's some inspirational quotes that normally help to get up and running, no matter what the time.

A Little Wonderland

Pinterest is wonderful.

If I'm ever lacking in inspiration, feeling a bit grouchy or hard done by, or just wanting to be nosy then pinterest is the place to be.

It's full of quirky little anecdotes dotted all over the show, cute, amazing and downright memorable pictures found from all over the inter web and amazing people you long to aspire to be like someday.

It helps to get the creative juices flowing, whether that be inspiration to try a new haircut, or you suddenly have an overwhelming urge to make a purse or craft a boat out of matchsticks and foil...it's all there.
Oh and you can create your own boards to help you remember where you saw something you adore!

Quite brilliant I reckon.

Fleeing the nest

I've been asked to move out. Not by my parents, although I do feel they are quite keen on this thought, but by my long term boyfriend. Who'd have thought?!
Now the hunt for somewhere new to call home awaits...and so far its been bloody ridiculous.

However there is one thing I am absolutely sure of...I want animal shaped, kitsch art salt and pepper shakers.

Ever since I saw the cutest hamster shaped ones in Cath Kidston one afternoon browsing the shops I knew I had to have it.
However, being the stubborn fool I am, refused to listen to the boy who kept telling me we should buy them...hmmmm.

Chicken Salt & Pepper Shakers Bit like this but in a hamster like shape. Find these here.

Monday Blues

Mondays suck. Getting up when it's still dark outside sucks even more. You only meant to wake up when no birds are singing if your going on holiday...which I wasn't.

Coming home when it's dark sucks too.

Now, I'm all for enjoying the seasons and what not but seriously...all I want is just a little bit of sunshine every couple of weeks or so.

Funny Seasonal Ecard: Let's spend the weekend pulling out the winter clothes we put into storage last weekend.
